Capcom has announced that there will be a Monster Hunter Festa this year. The Monster Hunter Festa is a tournament and fan event that Capcom hosts to promote its Monster Hunter series. The last Monster Hunter Festa took place toward the beginning of 2011, though a large portion of the event was canceled due to the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11th, 2011. The sole purpose of this years Monster Hunter Festa is to increase awareness of Monster Hunter 4, which launches for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on September 14th.
